HOW CAN REFLEXOLOGY HELP YOU?
Reflexology aims to treat the whole person rather than just symptoms and works to restore balance in the body. It is a popular complementary therapy for relaxation, relieving stress and improving sleep.
Reflexology has a growing clinical reputation, and is regarded as a well established, respected and effective therapy.

TREATMENTS

REFLEXOLOGY-single session
A treatment will last 60 minutes. Within this, an initial consultation will take place to learn about you and your specific reasons for the treatment. A treatment plan will then be designed to suit your specific needs.
The Reflexology begins with a foot spray, wiping and gentle massage of the feet. There may be points which feel tender here or further on during the treatment and I encourage you to tell me so that I can adjust the pressure. Pressure will be applied to the specific reflex areas of the feet and ankles. During this time you are welcome to chat, discuss the treatment, relax or even go to sleep. The treatment will culminate in a general foot massage to "shake out" all the pressure work. I will take notes during the session and then discuss with you my findings, after care and follow up treatments.

COMBINATION TREATMENTS- Reflexology and Indian Head Massage
Upper back, shoulder, neck scalp and face are treated with massage and petrissage, followed by a reflexology treatment. The two treatments are shortened slightly to fit into an hour or you can choose a 90 minute session which will include full treatments.

FULL BODY/BACK MASSAGE
Swedish body massage- Areas treated are legs, feet, arms, hands, back, shoulders, neck, head, face and upper chest. The back massage includes shoulders neck face and upper chest.

ABOUT
I've been interested in complementary therapies since 2002 when I visited India and learnt about Ayurvedic medicine and its philosophy of treating the whole body rather than just the symptoms. I have trained in swedish massage, Indian head massage, Reiki and Reflexology and I find the latter an amazing therapy to both have and practice. The feet can tell me a huge amount about the body, the condition shape and colour along with any areas of tenderness. I endeavour to make you feel relaxed, comfortable and informed at every step. It is hugely important for me to get to know you, your specific issues and requirements and to help you achieve optimum health through your feet!
